The successful director SS Rajamouli is in a plan to create some sensation with his next film Dheerudu of Ramcharan Tej. As for the latest news from filmnagar sources, Rajamouli is negotiating with Sreedevi to rope her in key role of his Dheerudu.
If Rajamouli can make this news true, the film is going to be big sensation before hitting the screens.
Boney Kapoor also said that he has no objection if Sreedevi wants to come back to the industry. So let us all hope that Sreedevi would sign this film.
Sredevi was the heroine of Megastar in Jagadeka Veerudu athiloka sundari- the film was a big hit. And Ramcharan was a kid when that film was released.

Murugadass ditches RGV’s hero?

Mohith Ahlavath is the discovery of Ram Gopal Varma. He was the hero in RGV’s James and Siva2006.
This young hero Mohith was selected to play the role of police inspector in Hindi Ghajini by director Murugadass. Rayaj Khan played this role in original Telugu Ghajini.
Now Mohith has dropped his Hindi Ghajini and it was rumored that Amir was the reason for his dropping.

Vamsi(Gopichand)is the younger son of Mudhukrishna rao(Paruchuri Venkateswara rao)and he is a happy go lucky guy.He has two close friends Subbu(Sunil)and MLA Raghava(Rajeev Kanakala).One fine day Vamsi comes across a beautiful,innocent&too good girl Bujji(Bhavana)and falls in love with her at the first sight.He dupes her as a CBI officer and meets her daily in the name of interrogation.

Vamsi's family is hiding in a remote village on the bank of Godavari and Vamsi seeks revenge on Lal Mahankali(Asish Vidyardhi)and his gang.Vamsi also kills his own friend MLA Raghava(now minister Raghava) brutally on a road.Why this lover boy turned into a serial killer forms the rest of the story.

Highlights:
Gopichand rocks as a lover boy turned avenger.Gopichand carries the entire film on his shoulders with his superb performance.
Heroine character is very good.Bhavana looks cute and performed well.
First half especially the love story is very interesting.
Cinematography(Sarvesh Murari) is good.Music (Manisarma)is Ok.
Dialogues(Marudhuri Raja,Bhasha sri)are good at parts(comic oneliners)
This is a pakka commercial film from the Eetaram films sans any social message and this is a much better film from director Ramana compared to his earlier films.

Sidelights:
The movie moves back and forth too many times.
First half is good as a perfect package of entertainment,love&action with enough suspense but the Second half is not upto the mark though it is fine in the climax.
Schizophrenic behavior of hero talking to the illusionistic charecter of heroine till the end may irk some sections of the audience and also they might be disappointed for the unhappy ending.

'Premikudu' Title Is Very Weak For Bunny

Allu Arjun's new film now titled 'Premikudu' is not to the liking of many of his fans. They feel that the title is too weak and also very old-fashioned.

But he is planning six films at a time. Remake of Hindi film Jab we met will be one of them where Navadeep will be the hero.

Director Shekar Kammula’s experimented with fresh faces and made a huge hit film happydays. Panel animation Studio is coming up with comic roles of the Happy Day’s characters
On the eve of this, the Panel animation has organized a press meet and it was attended by Rana Daggupati, Shekar Kammula, Nithin Siddham Setty and Rudra Matsa.
Speaking on the occasion, Shekar said ‘Whe I started this film, I never thought of going for animation. As for filmnagar sources, The management of Sandhya 70mm theater, RTC cross Roads, Hyderabad has paid Rs 45 lakhs as minimum guaranty price for distribution rights of Pawan’s Jalsa . The amount was paid to Geeta distributors. The film is releasing on 27th March worldwide.
Though the distributors wanted to release the film in Sudharshan 35mms, the sentiment factor made the distributors to select Sandhya 70mm- Pawan’s Kushi, Thammudu, Badhri and Tholiprema colleted record collections in Sandhya 70mm, so this sentiment made the producers to go for this theatre.

Nagababu to produce a film with Bunny & Surendar Reddy

A dialogue in Sundarakanda hurt chiru fans?

Bapu has intermixed politics and family problems in the film. There is a lot of reference to the present day politics in the film. For this purpose Bapu introduced a character Kota (Kota Srinivasa Rao) in the film. Kota aspires for the Chief Minister's post and he is seen all the time lobbying for it.
The father of heroine Charmy in the film, Sunil Sharma, is another aspirant for the chief minister's post. Both Kota and Sunil Sharma vie keenly for the chief minister's chair.
In the climax, Sunil Sharma finally manages to sideline Kota and gets within striking distance of the chief minister's chair.
However to the surprise of everyone, Sunil Sharma relinquishes the chair. He gives a reason for this by saying, "How can a person who neglects his daughter and does not take care about her, could look after people's problems sitting in the post of Chief Minister?
Many among the audience were seen shouting Chiranjeevi and Srija! This is an obvious reference to Chiranjeevi's daughter Srija's love marriage. She ran away from home and got married with her lover. Chiranjeevi could not do anything about it except remaining like a mute spectator. In fact she is not entertained by Chiranjeevi after her marriage.

Story:-.
Two young men ( Rajiv Kanakala & Allari Naresh ) meet in Vizag express and introduce each other. E parichayam Mandhu varaku veluthundhi and they start discussing ,they come to an understanding in their discussion that Rajiv should kill Naresh’s wife and Naresh should kill Rahiv’s father. Both of them have their own reasons for such agreement.
Two days later, Rajiv’s father Kota Sreenivas Rao gets murdered. That murder case comes on to Rajiv. In the mean time, Rajiv comes to know that Naresh killed his father.
There after Allari Naresh goes after Rajiv asking him to kill his wife as for the agreement. But Rajiv denies that agreement and says ’I made that agreement when I was drunken mood. I can’t kill your wife’
Naresh starts blackmailing Rajiv that he will produce the evidence to that police, that Rajiv killed his father.
Why Naresh wants to kill his wife and what the reason for selecting Rajiv for this purpose must be watched on the screen.

Performances-
Allari Naresh played negative role and he had lot scope to perform. Naresh has done good job. Rajiv‘s role is length enough but nothing much to perform.
Kota Sreenivas rao played drunkard role; we can simply say he lived in that role; he gets sympathy from audiences when he dies. And Preeti and Narsing Yadav have done justice to their roles.
The story is good but Chandra Shekar Yeleti screenplay failed to get the attention of the audiences in the first half. We can appreciate Yeleti for his job in the second half. Lack comedy is a big minus point
Vijay Kurakula’s music gets average marks.
The film runs in a very interesting fashion and the fast half is very racy. It is as if we are hardly half an hour into the film but it is already intermission. Such is the effect of good screenplay.
The film drags just a bit in the second half and a song obstructs the pace of the film. But the film never bores you at any point of time, even for a second.
Finally, it is a good film. Watchable once. On a whole, the future of this film depends on how the youth audiences receive it.

Story:-
Bobbili Raja’s (Ranganath) son Ram Gopal Varma (Sunil Sharma) goes to picnic where he falls in love with Prema. He gets married to Prema in the presence of tribal God and spends three nights with Prema.
Ram Gopal Varma comes to his home along with his wife Prema, this marriage shocks Bobbiliraja and catches up with paralysis. Bobbiliraja is taken to the hospital by Ram.
Vizag Prasad (brother of Ram’s mother) somehow manages to send out Prema out of the house.
Vizag Prasad wants his daughter to get married with Ram Gopal Varma.
When Ram return from hospital, his uncle (Vizag Prasad) bluffs that Prema ran away with jewelry. Ram Gopal remains bachelor.
Charmy is the daughter of Prema. And how the daughter unites the parents after 16 years? Watch on the screen. Allari Naresh plays a small role of village journalist.

Performances-
Charmy played her role with good commitment. But her bubbly body doesn’t shoot for Telugu traditional dress langa voni. She is not at all attractive in the traditional dress. Even in the entire film, she doesn’t look like a teenage girl.
Prema looked lean and she is more beautiful than Charmy in some frames.
Sunil Sharma who played the role of Ram Gopal Varma performance is average and at the same time the SP Balu’s dubbing didn’t suit for Sunil Sharma. When Sharma is speaking, the audiences never feel that Ram Gopal Varma speaking.
Kota Srinivas rao and his gang played the roles of today’s politicians and create some laughs. Kota’s performance is very good.
Vidyasagar’s music is neat and up to the mark.
Allari Naresh played a journalist role. The role doesn’t have any importance and the role is also limited very few scenes.

Finally- the film is not of present trend. The film may get some positive response from A centers. The film is old fashion one. It is a great disappointed effort from Bapu and Ramana.Don’t expect the film to be another Muthyala Muggu of Bapu and Ramana.

Kuchipudi’s ‘Murty in America’ with R Narayana Murty & Charmy.

Director Kuchipudi Venkat who is directing John Appa Rao 40+ with Simran ,Krishna Bagawan is planning for his next film titled Murty in America. Red Star R Narayana Murty will play the title role. Charmy will play the female lead.
This film is said to be a comedy about a guy who hates US and its policies traveling to USA. There will be no romance between hero and heroine.

‘Pourudu’ to make Rs6 Crores Profit.

Sumanth’s Pourudu with Kajal was released with 90 prints on 15 January and added 30 more prints later on.

It collected Rs.6 crores of share so far. We spent around 6 crores on making and publicity of the film. If you add up the future collections, satellite rights and other benefits, Pourudu is poised to net around 12 crores. That is a very good profit- around Rs6 Crores.

Jagapathi to play Villain?

Jagapathi doesn‘t mind doing negative characters as long as it gives him good scope to perform.
According to sources, the actor is going to act in a film produced by Ramgopal Varma, probably as a villain. Interestingly, Jagapathi Babu is also acting in Homam, directed by JD Chakri and produced by an affiliate production house of RGV‘ s company.
This flick is set for a May release.

Pawan Kalyan's first wife Nandini has submitted fresh statement making to magistrate in Vizag court today. She made fresh allegations on Pawan in her statement. Due to security reasons, the statement was submitted by Nandini's bother to magistrate.
Nandini's Lawyer said ' Nandini was badly treated by Pawan's parents and Pawan also married Renu Desai officially'.

Artistes Lakshmipati and Kalpana Rai passed away

Comedian and Telly actor Chittajallu Lakshmpathi Rao was today (Feb 7th) found dead at his bathroom at his residence in Motinagar, Hyderabad. The reason for his death is not immediately known. Since two days he didn't come out and relatives found his dead body this morning. Lakshmipathi had acted in several popular movies that include Andhrudu, Murari, Allari, etc. Last month, his brother and director Shoban was died of heart attack.

Senior actress Kalpana Rai too passed away this morning at her residence in Hyderabad. She had acted in 400 films. Her popular films include - Needaleni Adadi, O Seeta Katha, Hitler, Preminchukundam Ra, Soggadu, Itlu Sravani Subramanyam.

Premikula Roju Kunal commits Suicide,hangs himself

Premikula roju fame Kunal Singh was found dead early this morning at his Vindermayor residence in Oshiwara,Mumbai. The actor took his life by hanging himself to the ceiling fan on Wednesday evening.
An actor whose sole claim to fame was Premikula Roju opposite Sonali Bendre, left no suicide note behind explaining the cause of such an action. Kunal also acted in 5-6 other Tamil films.
His friend, Laveena, was present when the incident took place, she however claimed not to have witnessed anything as she had gone to the bathroom. His wife, Anu, was not present at the spot as she was visiting her parents in Ahmednagar.
The actor is survived by his wife, two children and his father who is a colonel with the Army. The police are investigating the matter and have asked the family to offer their support for uncovering the reason behind the suicide. The family however has refused to release any formal statement.

Robot renamed

At the Sivaji Silver Jubliee function, Super Star Rajinikanth confirmed that he is going to star in Shankar’s Robot. He also added that the title would be changed, given that Robot is an English word. He mentioned that Sujatha, who will be scripting Robot, is on the lookout for a suitable name for what is expected to be Indian cinema’s biggest production yet! And now, the word is that Sujatha suggested the name Iyandhiran, which is the nearest Tamil equivalent for Robot. Rajini and Shankar have reportedly accepted his suggestion. However, no official announcement has surfaced as yet.

Actress Kangana appears `top less` in Fashion?

Manjula's Plans to Cash with Mahesh Babu

Manjula, sister of prince Mahesh Babu plans to make a film with brother Mahesh Babu in the lead. She wants to produce the film on her Indira Productions banner. There are some reports that Krishna may even star in the film along with Mahesh Babu.
Manjula has finalized plans with director V V Vinayak. Manjula made the film Pokiri in partnership with director Puri Jagannath. The returns were very big. But here, Vinayak had already promised to his friend Kodali Nani for doing a film. When Vinayak told this Manjula's deal, Kodali Nani asked Vinayak to do it for Manjula this time. But Vinayak wants to go in partnership deal, say 50:50 between Manjula and Kodali Nani.
But Manjula is not ready to offer any partnership to anyone this time. She wants to produce the film all by herself. She feels that she has lost out on a big sum by going in for partnership for Pokiri.

Lawrence - 'Pardhu' started shooting

Raghava Lawrence having delivered 'Don' of Nagarjuna in Tollywood shifted to Kollywood and is now doing a movie in Tamil titled 'Paardhu', shooting of which has already started, this is being produced by Manyam Ramesh with Sneha as heroine. Lawrence would be hero as well director for this flick, shooting of this movie is likely to take place in Hyderabad, Mathura and Dubai. As of now its planned to strike silver screens during May.

AskMen magazine has awarded Aishwarya Rai Bollywood beauty queen and Mallika Sherawat actreen in top 99 most deserving woman list. Aish stands out to be number 27 and Mallika at number 66 in a joint survey by Indian American model food host Padma Lakshmi. Directors waiting for Prabhas approval

Prabhas having delivered 'Chatrapathi' a super hit movie was expected to give few more super hits but to his bad luck he gave hat trick flops then later Puri Jagannath came forward to do 'Bujjigadu - made in chennai' flick, when this flick is in progress, Prabhas had couple of projects one of Boyapati Sreenu and other Surender. They are eagerly waiting for his approval, but he is in no hurry. He got the offer when this movie was in mid stage, but till now he has not agreed for other project, he wants to see outcome of this present movie and then do his next flick. I am joining politics: Rajashekar

Hero Rajashekar finally made it clear on politics. He announced that he is stepping into politics very soon. He celebrated his birthday today (Feb 04) with much pomp at his residence. He also did charity work on this occasion and provided water purifiers to the schools in slum areas in Hyderabad and also distributed fruits to the patients at the hospitals.
But he refused to name in which party he is joining. "I will announce later but I am joining the politics, that is certain," he told the media.
He also thanked the people supporting him when he and his family was attacked by Chiranjeevi fans.
He also ridiculed the criticism of that he is an outsider. "My mother belongs to Guntur district and my father hails from Chittoor district. And I was the first among the heroes who settled in Hyderabad after the decision of industry should move from Chennai to here," he said.

Chandrasekhar Yeleti's next with newcomers

Talented young director Chandrashekar Yeleti delivered critically acclaimed films like Aitey and Anukokunda Oka Roju. After making commercial entertainer - Okkadunnadu with Gopichand, he took almost one year to move on his next. During this period, he has written a novel script, which he wants to begin with all newcomers. He will also be turning producer this time.

Major part of the film will be set in Stockholm in Sweden. He wants to introduce new faces for the lead cast. Stay tuned for more details.

Ravi Teja, Anushka to shoot from tomorrow

Ravi Teja and Anushka will now be acting together in the yet-to-be titled film of Uday Shankar for Suresh Productions. K M Radhakrishna will be composing the music for the film.
Uday Shankar had earlier made a film for Suresh Babu and their association had started then. Starting tomorrow, the lead pair will be shooting in Hyderabad as a part of a 90-day schedule.
The first day will be shot at a house in the city, and from day after tomorrow, the shooting will be done at the Nanakramguda Ramanaidu Studios.
The film is likely to be released either in April or May.

Pawan's Jalsa - a release after 14 months gap.

Pawan's Jalsa shoot with director Trivikram Sreenivas is completed and post production work is in progress. The film is releasing on 27th March- it means -there is gap of 14 months between Jalsa and Pawan's last film Annavaram.. So naturally expectations are high from the industry.
The film is made with huge budget of Rs25 crs. and the audio right were sold for Rs90lakhs to Aditya. and it is also heard that the film is getting good offers.

Devi Sree Prasad is composing the music first for Pawan's movie. Ileana is playing female lead. Allu Arvind is producing the film on Geeta arts banner. Kamilini Mukharjee and Parvathi Melton are appearing in guest roles.

Rajini's Guest role in Telugu film.

Hero Rajini Kanth was Tirumala with his family today. The entire family of Rajini , including his son-in-law Dhanush, and his two daughters and his wife to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji. They came yesterday and stayed in Tirumala over night to have the Suprebhatha seva of Lord Balaji today morning. The purpose of the trip was to have head tonsure ceremony (Thala Neelaalu) to his grand son (daughter's son).
Speaking to media , Rajini said' I am going to play a guest role in a Telugu film'. Rajini has denied to reveal the details of that project.

Krishnarjuna Movie Review

Public Talk : Not bad. Watchable only for Nag&Vishnu. Overall, it is average movie with some funny scenes.

Story : A mad woman(Surekha vani)dies after giving birth to a child in the temple.Her mother(Manorama)takes care of the child and names him Arjun.Arjun(Vishnu) is an innocent &jovial guy and a firm believer of Lord Krishna.He&his grand mom work for Pedha babu(Nasser).Pedhababu has a sister Satya(Mamata Mohandas) and she got engaged to a wealth man.According to Satya's horoscope the first man who marry her will die soon.So without telling the truth they force Arjun to marry Satya and immediately after the marriage they try to kill him.Arjun's grand mom dies after seeing this incident and Arjun also want to die.Then enters Lord Krishna..the favourite god of Arjun.How Krishna changes Arjun's life is the rest of the story.

Highlights : The Basic plot is inspired by Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty and the director(P.Vasu)added our very own Navarasalu to that plot.
Nagarjuna looks cool as Lord Krishna in casual dressing.Vishnu suited well as innocent and jovial Arjun.Music director Keeravani has given impressive background score but the songs are not upto the mark.
Brahmanandam,Bhuvaneswari's comedy track goes well with the masses.MS Narayana,Sunil,Venumadhav acted in minor charecters generating few laughs.
Mamata Mohandas is Ok.She has done a role of headstrong gal always seen in glamourous outfits.

Selva Raghavan directs Rana's debut film

Tamil director Selva Raghavan or better known as Sri Raghava in Telugu will begin working for his next Telugu film from April. Both of his films in Telugu - 7/G Brindavana Colony and Adavari Matalaku Arthale Verule - are blockbusters. Now, he is all set to direct Rana, grandson of veteran producer Ramanaidu.

According to sources, Selva Raghavan is paid huge remuneration to launch Rana as hero perfectly. The director is known for extracting great performances from the actors especially with newcomers. Rajamouli, Mahesh combo!

Mahesh Babu has always been attracting the best of the talents. Many a big directors have expressed their desire to work with the prince charming. Now, another top director S S Rajamouli is going to direct Mahesh Babu. According to sources close to the prince, S S Rajamouli has given green signal to the project to be produced on his guru K Raghavendra Rao's banner while his son Surya Prakash Rao acts as producer. Mahesh too expressed his joy for this combination.

This film will be 'thanksgiving' for both Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu, as both of them had been introduced by K Raghavendra Rao.

Currently, Rajamouli is directing Ram Charan Tej for Geeta Arts and its shooting will commence very shortly. If all things go accordingly, the film might release for 2009 Sankranthi. This will be Rajamouli's first film to hit on Sankranthi time.

Goutham Menon & Prabhas film- finally confirmed.

Goutham Menon , the Tamil director who directed Gharshana will direct Prabhas’s next film. Prabhas is doing a film Bujjigaadu-made in Chennai with Poori Jagannath.

Goutham Menon narrated a story line and Prabhas nodded his approval.

On the other hand, Boyapati Sreenu and Surendar Reddy are trying to convince with their story lines, nothing is materialized so far.

Chirutha team celebrate grand party

Ramcharan’s debut movie Chirutha has successfully completed 100 days and the producer Aswini Dutt has thrown a grand party to the crew and cast of the movie last evening (30th January) at Rock Heights, Hi-tech city, Hyderabad.

Chiru’s family members including Rancharan attended the party. Poori Jagannath also attended the party.

Balakrishna Questioned To YVS Chowdary

Though hero, Balakrishna is making tall claims about the response of the film in public, he is totally unhappy with the turnout. He is blaming it on YVS Chowdary for the failure. Balaiah told his close friends that he had Okayed the story in its synoptic form. He swore he hadn't heard the story in scenic order.

Baliah is now with the opinion that the story is spice less. Chintapalli Ramana, the dialogue writer, couldn't pack the dialogues with the required punch.

The much publicized dialogue, 'Lakhshalo Okkanni.. Lakshamandiki Okkanni'( I am one among a lakh people. But I can be a match to the lakh of people). When Balaiah modulates, the dialogue couldn't evoke the expected response from audience, Balaiah strongly believes.

Megastar looks slim & handsome

Megastar Chiranjeevi appeared before media after a long time. He appeared at Dr Rajashekar’s residence on 28th January. He was in T-shirt and Jeans. He looked slim and handsome. He was little fatty for his last film SDZ but now he reduced his weight considerably and getting ready for next film, that is to begin from April.

Megastar was in sad mood after SDZ release. The film didn’t work out at the box office and then his daughter Srija troubled him, and then he last his father K Venkat Rao.

Megastar finally appeared before media on 28th January. The glow seen on that day was the as he has some time back.

Ileana & Tarun’s Romeo & Juliet will be ‘Bhale dongalu’.

Bellamkonda Suresh is producing a film with director K Vijayabhaskar . Tarun and Ileana are playing lead roles. Vijabhaskar wanted to title the film as Romeo & Juliet but the title rights are with Mohan Babu. Now the director is going for new title Bhale Dongalu.
The film is planning to go for filming couple of songs in New Zealand and Australia.

It is a known fact that Shirya is acting in a Hollywood movie “The other end of the line” opposite desperate housewives star Jesse Metcalfe. The current buzz is that Shriya was supposed to appear in a semi nude scene where she appears topless. Shriya strongly objected to this scene and hence the unit has decided to use a body double.
There is another buzz also making rounds that she is in love with her co-star for Jesse Metcalfe. Both of them are always seens together and attended a new year bash together. Also their closeness seems way beyond friendship adds the gossip mill.
